Café-Concert & more

Coffee Concert is my intimate, house-concert series. From my living room to galleries and small halls in Israel and abroad, I invite listeners close to the instruments—harpsichord, spinet, square piano—and to guest artists. The format suits short, flexible programmes for curious audiences. No tickets, just music, contributions welcome.

Lectures & Workshops

Talks and hands-on sessions for musicians and curious listeners, focusing on classical music and early music with historically informed performance (HIP), live examples when possible, and time for questions. Suitable for music schools and academies, conservatoires, festivals, museums, libraries, and private groups.
Examples:

  • What is HIP: history, milestones, where we are now.
  • Building blocks of HIP: sources, instruments, articulation, tempo, ornamentation, continuo.
  • The early keyboard family: harpsichord, spinet, clavichord, square piano.
  • National styles: England, France, Germany, Italy.
  • Basso continuo, from figures to music, with singers or instrumentalists.
  • Frank Pelleg and the harpsichord in Palestine and Israel, 1936–1968.
  • Tailored sessions: happy to adapt topics or combine lecture and workshop in one visit.

Consulting & Coaching

Practical support in historically informed performance, programme design, instruments, and projects. I work with ensembles, presenters, and players; sessions are tailored and hands-on, online or on-site. Including programme curation, continuo setup, instrument choice, editions, and one-to-one coaching.
